The Arts & Business Council of Chicago convenes a monthly morning gathering for arts administrators to discuss topics and share ideas relevant to the business of art. Breakfast Club supports leaders and staff of nonprofit arts organizations through informal peer-to-peer sharing, casual facilitated conversation, and information dissemination.
Join us Tuesday, March 6th from 8:30-9:30am.
Topic: Advocacy and the Nonprofit Voice
A&BC goes to Washington! In preparation of the Arts & Business Council’s attendance at Arts Advocacy Day, we want to understand how we can champion the cultural policy issues that are most important to you and your organization to Congressional leaders in D.C.
This conversation will also explore how a nonprofit organization can use its voice to advocate for important issues such as the CREATE Act, full-funding for the NEA and the NEH, or protection of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting while still maintaining its 501(c)3 status.
For more information on getting involved with Arts Advocacy Day, contact Arts Alliance Illinois.
A cereal bar, tea, and coffee will be provided.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
This Breakfast Club session is proudly organized in collaboration with Arts Alliance Illinois.
