Part 2: Tuesday, November 17, 2-5pm
Has your organization recently transitioned their accounting system from the QuickBooks desktop version (Mac or PC) to QuickBooks Online (QBO)? Or, did you start with QBO and are eager to learn tips and shortcuts to minimize time spent while maximizing the accuracy of your reports? Then this workshop is for you!
You will learn:
- Overall settings and structure
- User access
- Memorized and automated transactions
- Banking downloads and account reconciliations
- Clients vs. Vendors
- Detail vs. Summary transactions
- Payroll setup, timesheets and processing
- Importing options to minimize data entry (i.e. from outsourced payroll processor or a payment platform like Paypal)
- Exporting data
- Financial reports and notes
- Audit preparation and attachments
There will be a brief review of basic transactions such as entering and paying bills or batching deposits, but the session will focus more on the proper way to record transactions in order to obtain detailed management reporting. QBO provides several options on improving efficiency. After this workshop, you will be able to choose which options work best for your organization.
