A&BC’s services are designed to connect you, the skilled business sector volunteer, with Chicago-area nonprofit arts organizations. Our aim is to work with—and through—our business volunteers in order to serve as the Chicago arts community’s foremost source for consulting, training and board recruitment. Together, we help these groups address their organizational and management capacity needs as they develop and grow institutionally. Each year, A&BC’s corps of nearly 150 volunteers works with dozens of nonprofit arts groups in metro Chicago, including dance, theater and music performance organizations as well as arts education providers, museums, nonprofit galleries, literary organizations and cultural centers.

Employers
Encouraging your employees to volunteer with A&BC—either as a consultant or board member—is a powerful way to develop your next generation of leaders. Their presence in the community exposes them to both a wide network of professionals and an interesting array of “out-of-the-box” business challenges while expanding your company’s sphere of influence and good will.
