A&BC Connect is
- A year-round, no-cost service for Chicago-area arts managers seeking relatively quick and focused answers, insights or perspectives on issues of immediate organizational import. Think of it as fast, short term coaching (up to 2 hours of one-to-one phone communication) with a trained business volunteer or an experienced Chicago area arts organization leader.
By linking organizations-in-need with trained, outcome-oriented experts, this service will provide swift, reasoned and confidential dialogue, coaching, guidance and referral.
A&BC Connect is for
- individuals at manager level or above
- non-profit arts organizations with an annual budget under $1M
How does A&BC Connect work?
After you submit your coaching request, you and your situation will be evaluated by A&BC staff and matched with an appropriate volunteer coach. Your coach will contact you to begin the process. You will receive up to two hours of phone coaching. Upon completion of the coaching session, you will complete a short questionnaire about your experience with A&BC Connect.
The A&BC Connect Coaches will provide:
- peer advice and a sounding board on how to approach your issue
- an objective perspective
- guidance toward a solution or next step
- a quick answer in some cases
