Arts & Business Council

We share the sad news of the passing of one of our organization’s founders, Sheila Frank. Sheila was instrumental in the early development of Chicago’s Business Volunteers for the Arts (which evolved into the Arts & Business Council of Chicago) and served as Board President and inspiring leader for five years. After her move to Florida, she remained a loyal supporter and ambassador. Her strong belief in the power of arts/business partnerships continues as a key tenet of the organization. Former Executive Director of the Arts & Business Council, Joan Gunzberg, who worked closely with Sheila for 7 years, reflected, “Sheila was the perfect example of how one person can truly make a difference.”
