Sponsored by Chicago Artists Resource and in its 9th year, this year the expo is expanding to two days. Friday, March 23rd will focus on information for arts organizations and creative businesses. Saturday, March 24th will focus on the needs of individual creatives. Admission is free and open both days.Creative Chicago Expo takes place at the Chicago Cultural Center, located at 78 E. Washington Street.

Join our very own Katie Kurcz, Director of Programs – Management Services, at the Creative Chicago Expo as she brings her knowledge and experience to the panel, Strategic Arts Marketing: Challenges, Solutions + Successes. The panel takes place on Friday, March 23rd at 10:30am in the Garland Room (First Floor) and will be moderated by Philippe Ravanas, Chair of the Arts, Entertainment & Media Management Department at Columbia College Chicago. Philippe also serves on A&BC’s Board of Directors.

During the afternoon of the Expo, join us for a discussion on board recruitment and leveraging the skills your board currently has to maximize its effectiveness. If you have participated in our On BOARD Program, then you already know that Kristen Romans, Director of Programs – Board Services, is a great facilitator. Kristen will bring her board expertise to the expo at 1:30pm on March 23rd for Build Your Board. The panel will include veteran board members and executive staff who will share their wisdom on the topic of board development.
