Connect 4 the Arts

Connect 4 the Arts was a huge success! Thanks to all of the people who attended and our generous sponsors. Over 100 guests joined the Arts & Business Council on the patio at Carmichael's Chicago Steakhouse on July 22, 2010. Among this group were arts administrators, current BVAs and other volunteers for the arts, A&BC board members, graduates from A&BC's On BOARD program--just to name a few.

A performance by members of Fifth House Ensemble and music by the Damn Hoovers added to the festivities. Gorgeous weather, delicious appetizers and refreshing Goose Island beer made for an exceptional night.

Said one new business volunteer, "The evening reinforced my belief that participation in the Arts & Business Council will be both worthwhile and rewarding for me personally, and that my background and experience are of potential benefit for these organizations."
