Connect 4 the Arts

Connect 4 the Arts was a huge success thanks to all of the people who attended and our generous sponsors. Over 100 guests joined the Arts & Business Council (A&BC) on the patio at Carmichael's Chicago Steakhouse. Among this group were arts administrators, current BVAs and other volunteers for the arts, A&BC board members, graduates from A&BC's On BOARD program--just to name a few.

Said one new business volunteer, "The evening reinforced my belief that participation in the Arts & Business Council will be both worthwhile and rewarding for me personally, and that my background and experience are of potential benefit for these organizations."

“It was a nice reminder of all the wonderful people that are involved with the arts community and are connected to the Arts & Business Council. I met a lot of fascinating people, it made me proud of my work with the Council” noted Beth Juhas, a member of A&BC’s volunteer gala committee.

A&BC board member and Managing Director of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide shared similar sentiments. “Chicago is a city that has a great passion for the arts and culture.  It’s a passion that lives even within the heart of the business community,” he remarked, “It’s always fun and uplifting to gather people together, mingling those from the arts and business, and seeing the enthusiasm that is generated. It was an event that gave proof to the mission of the Arts & Business Council.”
