Connect with metro Chicago’s culturally rich community by lending your business expertise as a volunteer consultant or board member. The Arts & Business Council can make this happen in one of two exciting ways:

Business Volunteers for the Arts® trains and places business professionals on pro bono consulting projects for small to mid-sized non-profit arts groups. On a project-by-project basis, volunteers work in teams with arts staff and board members to facilitate retreats, craft brand strategies, create strategic plans, tackle human resource challenges, and more.

On BOARD® trains and places business executives on non-profit arts boards throughout metro Chicago. The program begins with intensive instruction in non-profit board governance by arts industry experts, followed by individualized board matching and placement –-- a perfect way to enhance your leadership skills, build your peer work, and leverage your business expertise to make a lasting difference in the community.
